February #YQR🛫 update from James, our CEO:
✅ Air Traffic Control Tower update
✅ What would happen if it closed?
✅ Updates on flight traffic
✅ How you can help
✅ New requirements for international travel
✅ Welcome back @FlairAirlines
✅ What's open

We're VERY excited to welcome @FlairAirlines back to #YQR, starting May 2nd, with service to Vancouver and Toronto!

The previously disabled aircraft has been removed. The main runway is now open and operations have returned to normal.

At approximately 10:30AM, a general aviation aircraft became disabled on runway 13-31 while landing. The main runway is closed until further notice while the aircraft can be safely removed.

“We’ve had a catastrophic downturn in travel… our money has all but run out… and revenues are in a freefall right now. And as a result of that, we’ve asked Ottawa to give us some support to avoid having to dramatically increase our fees."
